Stability Ball

Stability Balls have long been used in rehabilitation settings and more recently as a workout for exercise enthusiasts. Exercises on the ball have been incorporated from the disciplines of Yoga, Pilates and Strength Training Programs. The goal of using the Stability Ball is to develop and maintain your core strength. In using "balance" as the antagonist, the Stability Ball forces our bodies to engage those smaller and often overlooked muscles. These are the muscles that help to sculpt your shape, make you stronger as well as provide you with stability in general. It is only when our "core" strength is developed that we can truly yield and realize results from personal motivation to exercise.

Stability Ball Classes are 60 minutes in length and focus on providing a full body workout including abdominal, back, arms and legs. It also includes a mat workout; weight training segment and a cool down/stretch period.

Indoor Cycling

An indoor cycling class is conducted to music, during which time the instructor leads the participants through a series of hills and flat roads and other journeys of the imagination. This genre of physical activity is beneficial not only for the development of cardiovascular strength and muscular power, but it is also essential for the natural release of your body's toxins.

Liz is a certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling instructor and is available on a freelance basis to clubs across Toronto.
